RTMC Clinical Research Center

Our research center is dedicated solely to the conduct of Phase II-IV clinical trials. We specialize in conducting clinical trials of investigational medications being developed for treatment in the areas of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus and other Rheumatology related diseases. The reward of offering investigational medication treatments to our community is the knowledge that we are contributing to the expansion of healthcare options. We believe that through our research there may be hope for individuals who have had to live without safe and effective solutions to their illnesses.

Our center is staffed by board certified clinicians with years of experience in running clinical trials.

Our center has high speed internet access for data sharing, scheduling, and clinical information.

We have an experienced dedicated Clinical Coordinator that runs studies for all locations.

Areas of Clinical Expertise:

Osteoarthritis
We have over 1000 active patients in different stages of OA. We are experts at joint injections. We have on site x-ray.
Rheumatoid Arthritis
We have over 300 active patients in different stages of RA. We are experts at joint injections. We have on site x-ray. We provide on site infusion services.
Osteoporosis
We have over 1000 active patients in different stages of Osteoporosis. We have on site DEXA machines at each site. We provide on site infusion services.
Fibromyalgia
We have over 1000 active patients in different stages of Fibromyalgia. Including both primary FM and secondary FM.
Gout
We have over 150 active patients in different stages of gout.
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
We have over 200 active patients in different stages of Fibromyalgia.

How are my rights protected?
RTMC is an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of ALL individuals who volunteer to receive the investigational medication therapies we offer. As such, prior to participation in any study-related procedures, every volunteer is made fully aware of the reasons we are conducting the current clinical trial and of all possible benefits and risks that may be experienced. Other available treatment alternatives, the length of the study, the number of clinic visits anticipated and a description of the procedures involved will also be discussed with each individual prior to study entry. All of this information will be provided in both verbal and written formats.

The written format used to provide individuals with an understanding of each clinical trial is referred to as an Informed Consent document. The content of each Informed Consent document must pass an examination by an independent committee of experts (Institutional Review Board-IRB) to prevent the use of any misleading information. All research centers are required to provide all clinical trial volunteers the opportunity to read, ask questions about, and sign a study-specific Informed Consent document prior to study entry. All clinical trial volunteers will be provided with a photocopy of their signed Informed Consent document for record-keeping purposes.

Participation in a clinical trial is always voluntary and may be discontinued at any time for any reason.

What about my privacy?
When you participate in a clinical trial your privacy is protected. Any statistical data provided to the FDA and/or the clinical trial sponsor will not include your name or any other identifying information.
